Conroy Polo periodically update registration forms, these will need to be completed with each update.
Conroy Polo will choose the horses provided for each session
All animals are unpredictable. Do not feed the ponies at any time and do not enter any field without the prior authorisation from a member of Conroy Polo staff or someone acting under the direct authority of Conroy Polo. Do not walk up to or pet unknown ponies.
Movement of horses, ponies and farm equipment around the yard and surrounding areas is unavoidable and we ask you to give way to them at all times.
Warning signs and health and safety instructions are there for a reason and must be obeyed. Conroy Polo reserves the right to ask you to leave the yard at any time we think you are acting in a way dangerous to yourself or others
Well behaved dogs are welcome but they must be kept on leads at all times
Abuse of any Conroy Polo yard rules may result in further bookings being refused.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the lesson/chukkas to allow time for you to get all appropriate safety equipment on and be ready to mount.
Clients arriving late to lessons and chukkas disrupts the flow of the session for other clients please be respectful to staff and your fellow clients by ensuring you are on the yard ready to ride in plenty of time.
Lesson/chukka times include mounting and dismounting
If you are late we cannot make up the time as it will impact on subsequent lesson timings
Cancellations within 36 hours of a lesson or chukka are subject to a £20 cancellation fee
Commitments made for internal and external events e.g. SUPA, varsity, challenge matches must be honoured; in the event of a cancellation by the client, payment is required for the entire booking.
“No Shows” without prior notice must be paid for in full and future lesson or chukka bookings will be contingent on payment being made upfront within 36 hours of your lesson or chukkas.
Abuse of any booking or cancellation policy may result in future booking being refused.
Conroy Polo reserve the right to cancel any and all activities at their sole discretion.
We reserve the right to cancel riding at any time. The decision of Conroy Polo staff, volunteers or someone acting under the direct authority of Conroy Polo is final
A riding hat conforming current British standards in line with the HPA rules must be worn and fastened at all times, including mounting, dismounting and when using our wooden horse facilities.
Clients must wear appropriate footwear when riding and closed toe footwear must be worn at all times on the yard.
Conroy Polo reserves the right to refuse footwear that their staff, volunteers or someone acting under the direct authority of Conroy Polo deem unsafe
You should not wear jewellery of any kind whilst riding. Anything you do wear you do so at your own risk
Only park in the designated parking area on the right hand side of the yard entrance
Maximum speed on the premises is 5 mph for the safety of staff, volunteers, clients and animals.
In order to safeguard the health of our animals you must not enter our premises if you have come into contact with animals at risk of spreading any notifiable or contagious diseases.
