Horse riding is a risk sport, and horses will always be unpredictable animals. As a result, health and safety on and off the Conroy Polo yard is and always will be paramount.

The health and safety of our clients and employees is of utmost importance. Conroy Polo aims to provide and maintain safe conditions, equipment, and practices for all our clients and visitors and provide them with the necessary information, instruction and training to achieve this aim.

For your own health and safety please ensure you:

The First Aid kit is located in the tack room.

All new clients must complete the New Client Registration form which will be given to you prior to your first lesson. This must be completed in full before your lesson.
All riders must wear a riding hat conforming to PAS015 standard (or equivalent) at all times whist mounted (including on the wooden horse). Suitable footwear and clothing must be worn whilst mounted. Conroy Polo staff have full discretion in determining what is suitable.

Hats conforming to current standards are available if you do not own one. We recommend you purchase a hat that has been fitted by a suitably trained person.

Smoking is not permitted whilst mounted, or in any of the yard, storage or tack room areas.

All visitors to Conroy Polo MUST comply with any and all instructions given by Conroy Polo staff. This is for the safety of visitors, staff and our horses. Failure to do so could result in being asked to leave the premises. A decision to ask someone to leave is at the complete discretion of Conroy Polo staff.
