Conroy Polo is one of the only independently owned and managed polo schools in the UK. Born out of a lifelong passion for equestrianism and the desire to create an accessible environment for high quality polo teaching, our farm, nestled in the beautiful Surrey Hills, is renowned for having a welcoming, fun environment for training in.
Ryan has developed a successful, effective teaching structure that works for developing high quality polo players of all ages. Maintaining full flexibility over how he runs his lessons Ryan is in a unique position to nurture talent and ensure the players he develops are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive on the pitch.

Through Conroy Polo I have spent the last six years building my reputation as one of the foremost coaches of grassroots talent in the UK.
I have been riding for 30 years; spending my childhood showjumping and producing ponies to a high level. I started playing polo aged 9 and trained my polo ponies myself. I progressed to teaching polo at 16 and have gone on to produce hundreds of polo ponies across the world. I’ve used my lifetime of equestrian knowledge combined with my coaching degree to provide a pathway to elite performance.
As a professional player I hold a 2 goal handicap and play regularly with the clients that I teach. Clients find the opportunity to play with their coach enables them to be part of a team where I actively promote the structure and support on the field that we develop in training.
I am proud to have taught and developed young England polo players, university teams and individuals that have gone on to play for teams such as the Monterosso Ladies 18 goal team.
